Cassini Division
The entoptic graphomania technique is applied to a vinyl record. Inspired by the recordings made by the Cassini probe between Saturn and its rings, the sound generated in this work loses its human component and becomes mechanical, like a radio with no signal. The scratched pattern causes irregularities in the machine reading, which reverses, jumps and gets stuck. It is no longer linear, but it travels spatially and temporally, entering a repetitive loop, capturing time and making it malleable, relative.

La técnica de la grafomanía entóptica es aplicada a un disco de vinilo. Inspirada en las grabaciones realizadas por la sonda Cassini entre Saturno y sus anillos, el sonido generado en esta obra pierde el componente humano y se vuelve maquinal, como una radio sin señal. El dibujo rayado provoca irregularidades en la lectura de la máquina, que retrocede, da saltos y se atasca. Ya no es lineal, sino que viaja espacial y temporalmente, entrando en un bucle repetitivo, capturando el tiempo y volviéndolo maleable, relativo.
