Dew Point 11.5
Dew Point 11.5 is a work inspired by the humidity of Bilbao. The name of the piece comes from the calculation of a mathematical equation with which we predict the dew point for the month of April 2018. This point refers to the exact temperature at which the steam contained in the air condenses in a mist, frost, clouds or dew.Stalactites are a natural invasion of those spaces that remain uninhabited. The goal was to use light and technology to bring a dead space to life, just like nature does. With all this, we portray the city of Bilbao through its meteorological data. The light of the work varies as it receives data from a sensor in real-time, increasing its intensity in times of higher humidity. Thus, light breathes at the same time as the city.

Punto de rocío 11.5 es una obra realizada junto con Emilio Cordero Checa, inspirada en la humedad de Bilbao. El nombre de la pieza proviene del cálculo de una ecuación matemática con la cual predecimos el punto de rocío para el mes de abril de 2018. Este punto se refiere a la temperatura exacta en la cual el vapor contenido en el aire se condensa sea neblina, escarcha, nubes o bien rocío.
Las estalactitas son una invasión natural de aquellos espacios que permanecen inhabitados. El objetivo es usar la luz y la tecnología para dar vida a un espacio muerto, tal y como lo hace la naturaleza. Con todo ello, retratamos la ciudad de Bilbao a través de sus datos meteorológicos. La luz de la obra varía conforme recibe datos de un sensor a tiempo real, aumentando su intensidad en los momentos de mayor humedad. Así, la luz respira a la vez que la ciudad.
