Behind the observatory (2020) is a video art about astronomical images and where they come from. Here, astronomical technologies are seen as instruments of power that create images through their subjective eye. I use Google Earth to wander around this oniric, virtual space that has been created thanks to satellites and other NASA instruments. Therefore, I use this tool against its own creators. During my walk, I visit different telescopes, observatories and other buildings where astronomical pictures are taken, trying to get inside them and to discover their secrets.
